vista 64 bit compatible protools edition

hi, does anyone know if digidesign are at least planning to release a 64 bit vista edition of protools- they have mentioned the mac osx leopard version due shortly but no news on the pc front.....? anyone?

First of all I don't speak for Digi....They have stated in the past that there would be no imminent release of a 64 bit windows version of PT. Either for Vista or XP Pro

Probably not enough market yet and no real audible advantage over a 32 bit OS.

If I had a crystal ball I would say sometime after Leapard and possibly for Windows7.

If you currently have Vista 64 I remember reading a post where the person claimed success running PT as a 32 bit app. If you don't have 64 bit Vista I would buy the 32 bit version.

Actually for PT I would still recomend XP over Vista for the near future.
