Newbie: How to connect Monitors

Hey, I just purchased an MBox today and have a couple very SIMPLE questions about hooking up my monitors.

1) Is it possible to get my PC sound through my monitors that are hooked up to my MBox (itunes, reason, etc).

2) I cant get any audio playback on my monitors. I have my roland studio monotors plugged into the MBox, and a mic hooked up, and protools open, but I'm getting nothing back. No sound. Anyone care to help this newbie out?

one can only run 1 sound device at a time. you may also need the mme helper.

ok - i got the sound to work, as well as the computer sound to work by sending it through the 2nd input and back out through the monitors, but it is very choppy, crackly, and latent. anyone care to point me in the right direction here? thanks!!
