MIDI Merge function causing stucked notes
Hi,
Anyone having "midi stucked notes" when recording midi with the "midi merge" function enabled ? When recording midi on a new midi track, and using the damper pedal, the notes are stucked. When disabling the "midi merge" function, you will not hear any stucked notes. This only happens when you are actually recording. I have been looking for a solution for a long time: * I upgraded to PT 7.1 CS8 * Upgrade the firmware of the Digidesign MIDI interface * Followed all PT General Troubleshooting tips for PT on MAC * Deselected the "Delay Compensation" * Upgraded firmware of my Roland RD700SX * Played with the filter option to filter midi data * ... and then yesterday I disabled the MIDI merge function and all my problems were solved. Now, is this a beautiful story or just a bug ? or is it just me ? Ciao ! |
