MDW Authorization Fail

I just rented the MDW plug-in for 1 week. I have a 2-day mastering gig, today and tomorrow. A couple of years ago I demoed the plug-in but didn't purchase it. This time, after going through the iLok process to authorize the plug-in the plug-in won't load in Pro Tools because the plug-in is "not authorized". However, right there on my iLok the product is authorized.

Now I can't seem to find the appropriate place to ask Avid to help me with the problem or give me my rental money back.

Either way it sucks because I rented the product to deal with a specific issue with this current project and have to go out of town in 2 days so I suspect by the time this gets dealt with my so-called authorization will be over.

Serves me right. Every time I acquire a plug-in to deal with a spur-of-the moment issue an inconvenience happens....

Sometimes you pay your cash and then have to wait 3 days to get your plug-in.

Sometimes you have to spend hours on the Internet trying to get to the root of the problem.

A few things to check:

You have downloaded the right installer for your system AAX or RTAS?

Have you tried to deactivate the license on your ilok and reactivated it again using the repair function on ilok manager?

And maybe also delete the plist and let PT re-read in all ypur plugins again after deleting the Avid and digidesign plists
