I have searched this forum and seems there is no solution for this problem. I have done all like trashing database folders etc......no go.

OK....this looks like it was Waves Diamond bundle 5.0 that was causing this prob....Updated to 5.2 and it seems to be fine now.

No'p with all the pluggs updated....the problem is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
