focusrite ISA Adat Out Problem

I have A Focusrite ISA 428 going out of the Adat into the Adat In on the 192 IO

It has always worked but i now am getting signal on the led meters on the 428 but have no Illumination of the Adat out Plug on the back ( the way it is lit up when it is working )

but am not getting any signal into the 192 on the digital side.

am thinking if the adat out is not illuminated red then the card is not working

any ideas what would have happened to cause this or what might be wrong with it would help

or am i just Screwed till i get either a new card or change something on the way i run into the io

Hi Russell,

Just to do an idiot check

the selector on the front of the ISA for clock, is this set to your session frequency! and the clock source button is set to the correct position! word clock etc, how are you clocking the ISA to the 192?

is there nothing showing on the ISA adat ports at any frequency?

Hardware setup on the 192 on the main page the digital format is set to optical spdif and the input you are using is set to digital

hey guys thanks for the input

but it started working again after being shut off for a half of an hour it works like new .

i am gonna get me an analog input expansinon for my 192 i hate adat and always have just to make sure i dont have that problem anymore
