Just installed 6.1 upgrade and Pro Tools doesnt run any more

I am a new 002 user ( about 6 to 8 weeks old ) and I just recieved 6.1 and installed it acourding to to manual that came with it and after the install which seemed to go right I get three messages saying that " Another application is already using the Digi hardware The secound message says " Program Error A fatal exception has occured " bla bla bla The third message says "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime error The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way....bla bla bla .Does anyone have any ideas as to what just happened ? Uninstall Pro Tools using the Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs.

Also uninstall the WaveDriver or ASIO driver if they're installed.

Search your system for the file dalwdm.sys and delete it from your computer.

In Regedit look for any Digidesign components and delete the keys.

Reboot.

Reinstall PT 6.1 to your boot drive with the 002 hooked up and powered up.

Reboot.
