The leg frame extension is to expand the avid leg kit wider, to add more chassis.

Be very careful when buying outside the trusted avid dealer network, probably not working or the stuff is stolen, (which wouldn’t be surprising given the state Canada is in). Buyer beware!

Not a scam. These parts were bought to expand a very very early S6 frame which is different to the norm so didn't fit. I was the one helping this guy figure it out.
