C4 & Rcompressor Emit High Pitch Noise
Hey all,
Running PT 8.0.4 cs2 with waves restoration 7.1 software on a Mac Pro (I can give specs if need be). Ran into an issue today with the C4 and Rcompressor plugin emitting a high pitch noise that made me want to rip my ears off. Completely deactivating the plugin would stop the noise, which at the time was isolated to one track. I opened a previous version of the same session and the noise came back on different tracks with the same plugins. Again, deactivating the plugins would resolve the issue temporarily. I rebooted the system and cleared the volume & databases ala pro tools helper. Relaunched PT and the issue was gone. This is the second time this has happened today and I was wondering if anyone has run into the same issues and if they have a permanent fix for the problem. Thanks. |
