Multichannel plugins (eg DR-008)
Hi,
I have added an instance of DR-008 to a stereo aux track. The DR-008 is configured for 4 stereo outputs and I can hear the first stereo output on the aux track. I added another 3 stereo aux tracks for the other 3 outputs on the DR-008. The problem is, when i try to configure the inputs on these aux tracks, i cant assign the outputs of the DR-008. The submenu "plug-in" is greyed out completely. Is there something else I need to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks PS. I am using the demo version of PT M-Powered while I wait for my order to arrive in the mail. Is this a limitation of the demo? |

Re: Multichannel plugins (eg DR-008)
You are not doing anything wrong. If I am correct, Pro Tools does support multi-outputs but not in the same way a VST host does. The DR008 currently only supports 2 outputs (ie a stereo channel) in Pro Tools. FXpansion will need to update the RTAS version to take advantage of Pro Tools' multi-channel support.
