hehehe- just kidding!

OK- you have Hyperthreading on?
If so (lloks like you do), try with it off.
Also, your CPU looks like it is running a bit warm...I know it is a Prescott, but still- good lawd!
Didnt have time to go thru the whole report yet, just skimmed the first half real quick.

Will try to find time to skim more later...

Thanks for the look. Yes, I've tried running PTLE without hyperthreading and no difference, same lags and error messages, only my cpu was suddenly cut by almost 30%. Thanks again.

A few things:

1. I didnt see (upon first glance) a secondary hard drive. You might have one on the FW buss....If not, get one. Dont track to system drive.. I assume you knew that.

2. RAM is a little light but not so light that you shouldnt be able to run 5-6 plugs.

3. CPU temp is up there... The P4 will scale itself back when it gets too hot...unlike the AMD64 which just shuts off. Try running PT with the side panel off and a fan blowing into the case.. .I know it sounds weird but heat can cause all kinds of random annoying things to happen...

If that aint it...we'll get ot it sooneror later.

Are you also posting this in the LE forum?

Try these if you have not already done so:

In Network Connections, defintely disable the 1394 network connection (caused me problems with an LE setup). Try disabling all network connections. Disable the on board audio.

As some 1394 chipsets have caused problems with TDM setups, try disabling the 1394 ports. If reliant on a 1394 drive for recording, do a simple test recording (2-8 tracks) to the system drive. As a trial, it would make sense to disable all ports.

I don't know much about it, but the memory description seems odd, that slots A1 and B3 are used while A0 and B2 are empty (I'd expect to see, eg, A0 and A1 as a pair; but the nomenclature on your board may be different, etc.).
