Now there's a phrase from olden times. Check out Keybeeetsss profile here: http://duc.avid.com/member.php?u=59979 Take a look through his posts (combined with Lebron James) and you should find an explanation. The time frame will be several years ago.

Posted in the wrong forum - should be in the General Discussion forum. Maybe a moderator can move it?

I could not find anything in Keybeeetsss' stuff that explains it. But a bunch of people seem to be on board with it. Maybe someone could speak up. Wondering.

Jack what did you mean by the Lebron James reference?

Thanks,

MD

Maybe Mr. Beeetsss would be kind enough to explain the meaning of on'eim in response to this respectful request for knowledge.

Is it a code word for an esoteric hobo ritual?

Is it a linguistic key to open a vault of immense audio knowledge?

Is it just some nonsense intended to confuse us?

Is it a reference to a song that we could all sing together as one happy group?

Surely, someone must know the answer. Nay, we must all know the answer!

I can explain more but I'd rather do it in a PM than here on the forum. There are reasons for that I can't talk about here. You need to open up your profile to allow PM's. Elsewise I'm outta here on this.

edit for additional:
Thanks to the mod that moved this.

Hi musicman691,

I did not know about the private message thingy. I have enabled it and added musicman691 to my contacts, so it should work now. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do.

Thanks,

MD

Responded to your PM. And remember that the 'P' in PM means private.

Right. But, are we in some kind of danger or something? Is this like espionage? Are hobos involved?

I love mysteries!

I mentioned the thing about the 'P' because there are some that have shared what was in PM's here on the forum and that's a huge no-no.

How huge? You sound almost frightened by the mysterious on'eim!

Like what could possibly happen behind trying to figure out what "on'eim" means?

In my opinion, the on'eim is probably not that vicious. But I may be wrong. If the on'eim is in fact a threat to our peaceful existence here on this forum, then let's continue discussing this b.s. for as long as it takes to decipher, dismantle, and defuse the on'eim. If it is not a threat, but just some crap without any meaning that someone made up to sound cool or "street", then someone ought to step up, chime in, and say so.

Surely we must all work hand in hand toward a resolution on this allegedly important issue.
