On mine is working fine.

I’d like folder tracks like logic or Cubase.. and better support for VI’s and retrograde recording in midi and midi FX ... and most important to me a Articulation map and Articulation tracks similar to Cubase

It is still trash, unless you use specific HD interfaces with HD native and HDX. A ping feature like cubase/nuendo/reaper is well overdue.

Didn't they introduce retrograde midi recording with 2018.1?

I would really love to see some decent ADR implementation. Black Magic Design, who purchased Fairlight have just implemented it into DaVinci Resolve 15. It is pretty slick! And the whole DAW/Editor is a free download. It is surprising that it hasn't been addressed in Pro Tools HD at all...

Thanks,
I'm mostly joking. But, it does seem like it would be a relatively easy thing to add.

Upon reflection, I'm working with a vocal stack that looks like this:

Melodyne
EQ1
DeEsser
Compressor1
EQ2
Compressor2
Saturation
Vocal Rider

There's still a couple of free insert slots. I could also throw the Saturation into a send. I doubt I will ever need more than ten inserts, but I do find that having a few slots free makes it easier to shuffle plugins around, especially if you need to reorder something.

And you never know. People once thought that no one would ever need more than 640 KB of memory.

Another (old) request:

The ability to undo deleting tracks. This would be especially nice for those occasions where you forget that you have multiple tracks selected, but you think you are only deleting the one on which you are right-clicking.

Unlimited Selective Undo. I saw this a long time ago at a Nuendo demo. Nuendo keeps every change you've made in a file unless you delete it. By Selective Undo, I mean the ability to do the following:

Normally, if you make 10 changes and want to Undo number 5, you would have to Undo back from 10 to 5, then Redo numbers 6 through 10. With Selective Undo, you only need to go to the Undo List, delete number 5 and the program will redo number 6 through 10 automatically, as if number 5 never happened.
