Help! 002 rack gone haywire!
Our 002 Rack has started having tantrums and refuses to be seen by our G4 at all. The unit itself starts to make an audible clicking noise (as though it's searching for sync?) and the link light on the back flashes, as well as the ADAT output. the only way to clear this seems to be switching off the whole studio for about 20 minutes, and even then it doesn't always work. Has anyone else had similar problems? Is our 002 giving up the ghost? any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help! 002 rack gone haywire!
If your 002R serial number ends in a letter before G you probably have a power harness problem. Call Digidesign. They will overnight a new one.
Do a search of these forums. |

Re: Help! 002 rack gone haywire!
Thanks. Yes the serial number ends in a D so I'll try Digidesign. I did have a look through earlier and saw the mention of power harness but couldn't work out what it meant (searched Google etc.). I'll have another try. many thanks.
