Default OMF File From Vegas???

Editor thinks that Vegas doesn't export OMF---I have no idea, anyone else out there ever worked with Vegas before? Because at this point, my suggestion to him was send me a QT movie or DV stream that had a head AND tail pop

Your question is confusing. I don't understand how your Quicktime suggestion has anything to do with the OMF. It sounds like you are mixing up two different things. OMF is the audio from the picture editor and doesn't contain the video file. Vegas, by the way, uses AAF import/export rather than OMF.

And I should hope that the Quicktime has head and tail pops. How else will you deliver your material and expect the editor to layback the sound to picture?

I could be mistaken, but I believe OMF files are also exported from FLStudio (Fruity Loops)

sorry--i was rushing thru the post: question was supposed to be : does anyone know how to get an OMF file from Vegas? or something of that sort (which you answered--thanks!

QT suggestion was my workaround---if he couldn't get me the OMF file, i told him to make sure he gave me a QT movie with BOTH pops so we could use the pops for sync
