Default Midi Keyboard Advice

Hi:

I'm looking for a simple 61 key midi keyboard that plays well with OSX Leopard and ProTools.

I've been monkeying with a Novation remote SL for years and I can't stand it. Audio/Midi doesn't see it anymore.

So nothing from Novation. I just need it to have a midi in Port so I can hook my edrums up though it.

Any suggestions? Am I missing something?

Carl

M-Audio Axiom or Axiom Pro. Avid owns that company as well as Protools. They're great keyboards.

Do you have the transport and faders working?
If so could you explain the procedure?

If you want ease of use it would seem the axiom Pro model is the one to get. It has hypercontrol which automatically maps all the controls to PT's paramaters and also the plug ins when selected. I am looking into the Axiom Pro 49 myself.
Here are some videos.

Thumbs up Re: Midi Keyboard Advice

I've been using my axiom pro 49 for a few months and am loving it. I'd highly recommend it.
