HD-Native plus Core Audio I/O
Hi all,
When running PT 10HD with a HD-Native card, can anyone confirm how many core audio inputs I can record in addition to the 64 from the HD-Native? I've searched here and the Avid website and have seen several conflicting answers. I'm hoping you can access all 32 core audio inputs as you can in non-HD PT10, but have also seen a maximum of 8 mentioned, or that you can not access ANY core audio when running the HD-Native card (which I suspect is the real answer). Being able to expand to 96 inputs on occasion is important and is the decider between buying HD- Native or 2x HD-X. thanks. |

Correct. The HD systems will not aggregate.
