Help switching MIDI to Audio
Hey I'm new to pro tools and I have a question. I'm making a beat and I used a MIDI track but I want to switch that MIDI track to Audio so I can add effects. If anyone can please guide me on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Help switching MIDI to Audio
Create an audio track, switch the output of your instrument track to a bus, switch the input of the audio track to the bus that your instrument track is going out to, record the audio... yep, record the track in real time, no offline rendering here!! LOL!!
You do realize that if your instrument track has a softsynth in slot 1 you still can add RTAS effects after it in the other slots, don't you? You may not have to dub it over to an audio track to do what you want. (or you might just have route your output through an aux input and use the inserts on there...)
