making an SD card boot disk..with macbook
Hey guys, I have a 2011 macbook that I wanted to try out with
Protools 12.5.2 and Mac os 10.11.6 and I have a new 256 gig SD card so I installed the above on the SD card last night(using the SD card as the boot drive) and have been running Charles Dye mix it like a record sessions on the macbook to try it out. The audio files are on an external USB drive and its working fine. If I were to do any serious work I'd use the internal drive or an external firewire to record to. I thought I'd give the new software a try and the advantage is that I can pull out the SD card and use the same system out on my mac mini. Have any of you used an SD card as the boot disk or record disk for protools? thanks! Last edited by fourthtunz; 08-31-2016 at 07:42 PM. Reason: clarification |
