Dear users, it has been nearly one year since we first announced Wusik 4000. We have worked hard and made this new product a reality in less than 12 months. Now is time to move forward and keep developing this great product. The idea is to start coding Wusik 4000 V2 soon, before June 1st, and have an official release around early December, with beta versions released much sooner, around July 1st. For that, we are doing a great deal on a new group-buy (the first this year) for the upgrade to version two. - Oh nooo, another GB from Wusik? Actually its been nearly one year since we started the previous GB deal. We need all the help we can get in order to license better tools for Wusik 4000 V2 development. This will help users by allowing people with short resources to enter the Wusik 4000 V2 deal and also help us out with resources to invest even more on this project. We need to license more sounds, hire more people to help us out, and also invest on new hardware to keep things moving.
- I´m a monthly/yearly Wusik Subscriber, will I receive this for free? Yes, once it is released or a first beta is done.
- Another thing that we want to write about is that we have worked like this for a long time. Old users already know that this is how we do things. We are not a company, we are not a group of people. Wusik is mainly WilliamK coding and handling everything. We do have the support of many users who contribute, skin designers and also sound designers. Apart from that, Wusik is an one-man-show. So we need to work in different ways, so we can stay alive in this saturated market. We are also avoiding any intrusive copy protection, for this, we need more supporters for our work to continue. Otherwise we would be forced to add intrusive protection and higher prices, which is something that we really hate. We know that other one-man companies work in different ways, but that’s them, and this is us. We hope that new users will understand and follow us.

Details on each Target:

- First Target - 150 Users - this is the main target. Once this target is reached, and we have a first beta version of V2, we will start filling the original Download URLs with the required files. So be sure you save the empty Download URL you received when you entered this GB deal.
- First Bonus Target - 250 Users - we will hire a new sound-designer to create new sounds and presets for V2. (This will only be sent to users who opted for the Engine + Extra Sounds option)
- Second Bonus Target - 400 Users - we will work on a new skin design according to user feedback from our forum. We may also work with other sound designer depending on how things work out, again, only for users who opted for the Engine + Extra Sounds option (the extra skin will be for all V2 users).

This is just a quick list for some ideas we had for V2, we may include or remove features as we code.

- Scala TUN files for Micro-Tunning.
- Pure Data (PD) Scripting (not sure how yet).
- Karplus String Delay Sound Generator (or filter).
- More Preset options, such as rating system.
- Better Sample Player Mapping options, including Loop Editor.
- Pad-Synth support.
- More and more presets, specially for Wusik Station sounds.
- Comb Filter and other types too.
- Special glitch filters and other crazy filters schemes (polyphonic).
- Optimized modules for less CPU usage (maybe using SSE2/AVX).
- More effects, mostly ported from the Wusik Station effects list.
- FM Sound Generators.
- Pro Tools AAX support (we already have the Anvid contract ready, but we need extra hardware so we can validate our AAX files with PACE tools. We are not introducing any PACE protection, only validating the files as Pro Tools requires that. And we are not promising anything regarding AAX validation. We will also not refund orders of users who wanted AAX support as we still provide other alternatives such as VST and AU formats. The main problem for us is the MAC side, as we use a MAC on the cloud to compile, and we would need real MAC hardware in order to support the AAX format. That’s the main problem we have right now. Also keep in mind that we may only be able to work this out if we go over 250 users.).
- More support on the MAC side, thanks to new hardware and more host/daw options.
