Default Where are the Click/metronome options??

I just want to keep the same click tempo but have semiquaver or quaver subdivisions played by the click.

Where is that option?? I've looked everywhere!!

Click settings are controlled by the Click plugin that should be an insert on your click track and by Setup>Click/metronome options and by (what you are likely after in this case by) Event>Time Operations>Change Meter (or click on the Meter item in the midi control panel in the Edit window horizontal toolbar) see the "click" button.

The Change Meter dialog is what you are after, but the absence of minor beat clicks may be due to the Unaccented click volume being turned way down.

This stuff is documented (but not well for a total new user) in the Pro Tools Reference Guide....

And see this useful beginner video

it's at page 190 and 441,442. A bit hard to find if one searches NOT for keywords within the Pro Tools Reference Guide.pdf !

Also the TL metro plugin has more subdivision options than the click plugin...
