Default Cannot Change "P" to "R" in workspace.

Hi all,
So I am on a Mac Intel Computer running leopard with Pro Tools 8. And i have a hard drive that wont let me record audio on to it but i can transfer files on and off of it.

What i would like to do is be able to record on the same hard drive in Mac, That i record on in PC as well. Any Ideas? Thanks.
Andrew

Format the drive from FAT32 to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) using disk utility. You'll then need a utility like macdrive to mount the mac volume on a windows based PC. Apparently there is a utility to mount mac drives included with Pro Tools, i don't use windows so cannot confirm this.

2 options

1: Format the Drive on PC as NFTS and then install Paragon NFTS on the MAC.

http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/

So this will be a PC formatted Drive that the MAC can now read and write to.

2: Format the Drive on MAC as HFS+ and then install and use Macdrive on the PC.

http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/

So this will be a Mac formatted drive that the PC can now read and write to

BUT

PT 7.4 and up (maybe even earlier versions) have a program built in that can read the Mac drives so maybe you won't need to use 'MediaFourMacdrive 7'
