Matching Alternates - Keep Time Position?
Is there a way to use the Matching Alternates feature to swap out a file with a different version while maintaining it's time position on the timeline?
When I try the Matching Alternates feature it moves the new file to start at the beginning of the start of the clip, instead of its original time position. Often I need to swap out a file with a different version after doing a lot of splice editing, fades, clip levels, etc. Can I keep all of that and just change the file only?

Re: Matching Alternates - Keep Time Position?
Speculating on options:
1-look for an option to SPOT(so you could SPOT to the same timeline point) 2-create a new playlist(or several) and drop the alt clips on separate playlists(and SPOT to the same timeline position) Hopefully, someone else has better options
