Default Plug-in not saving settings

I am having a problem with the t-racks EQ and Amplitube plug ins. It does not save my settings after I close the session. When it is reopened, all settings are reset. What gives. This does not happen on my Mac setup, only on my Laptop.
I have a
Dell 8500 laptop
Pentium 4
2.4G processor
512 Ram

Do I need to reinstall?

Help...

MWB

Reinstalling won't help...you need to contact IK and badger the hell out of them until this known issue with many of their plugins gets taken seriously.

Download the latest version of the plugins, they might have fixed it.

Anti IK Multimedia rant: I've got a bunch of emails promising fixes for the Amplitube version included with my 002. All lies, as it turns out. They're not likely to get any money from me.

Which is a shame, since I like Amplitube and SampleTank.

Don't you love the quality of Digi's partners
I won't even load IK's plugins any more. It's simply a waste of disk space.

I've read in other threads that if you go to the IK site and get the latest versions it will fix the save problem. You have to do a "repair" when installing though, or it won't work.

Several months, anyway - then I gave up, and bought Guitar Rig. In some ways, I prefer Amplitube, but IK Multimedia clearly have no intention of taking care of business.
Even a reasonably priced paid update to 'real FULL version' from 'Digii002 FULL version' might have satisfied me. I was tempted to speak to somebody at the IK booth at AES, but decided to just walk away.

yes this update fixes the saving bug, but i found another bug yesterday
that when you have the plugin on an insert, then u move the plugin to another
insert just say u want it to go from the first thing in the chain and u move it
to the middle of the inserts, it will reset itself to default, what POS

the only thing i use this plugin for is some of the preset effects just because
i usually don't feel like setting them up myself in other eq plugs
but at least those plugins don't have any problems
