T-racks versus Waves
hi digi users
I've just got a demo of T-racks plug' for PTLE, from IK ... I use to do my masters with wave's C4 and L1 ... Is someone using this plug and do you like it ? I tried also their Amplitube, what a deception, I do prefer Line 6 's POD ... Any opinion of T-Racks Thanks from France |

Re: T-racks versus Waves
I actually like T-Racks quite a bit. The presets are generally straightforward so you have to tweak to taste. I think it definitely gives a little warmth to the recordings, but I'd have to say that a C4 gives you more flexibility.
Perhaps if an upgraded version of T-Racks were to include a multi-band compressor, it would become a step forward to the all-in-one mastering solution (although nothing comes close to taking your mixes to a mastering house).

Re: T-racks versus Waves
There has been improvments in the multi-band compressor in the RTAS plug compared to the stand alone version.
