Default New iLok key says it's owned by another user

Hey guys, I'm new here.

I recently bought Pro Tools 11/10 - came with a new ilok.

I am new to the ilok stuff as I was an Ableton user before making the change.

My problem is,

I registered everything from the avid stuff (downloaded and installed everything).

I made an ilok account and downloaded the ilok manager.

Now what is happening is - My ilok key is saying it is Owned By: Another User.
I'm not sure what I have done to make it say this as it is brand new.

I'm guessing I have somehow made 2 ilok accounts but I seriously don't believe I did.

I can see the Pro Tools 11 bundle in the manager, so it appears ready to drag into the ilok once sorted.

I feel close but this is quite annoying.

Any help would be amazing!

Hi Erik,
It looks like your license and downloads have been available since last August. Maybe you are looking in the wrong Avid account and/or iLok account? Check the Private Message I sent you with the details of your registration/activation.

Well i guess ill continue to be the broken record. This problem is so frustrating i install pro tools 12 and still having this same issue with my ilok

I could not find an account using your User Name or email address. I did find an iLok account using that email but there are no licenses there. Can you please update your community email address to the one you used to activate/redeem Pro Tools so I can try again?

Hey man, I'm having the exact same problem. Downloaded Trigger 2 and I need to put the license on my iLok. In the license manager it's coming up saying it's owned by "another user" when I actually bought it with ProTools 11 and it's legally mine. I've been using the iLok for over a year and all the licenses work, except none of them are in my actual account anymore. This is urgent so any help with this would be very much appreciated.

There are 2 registrations for Pro Tools 11 under your email address, with 2 different iLok User IDs. It sounds like you might be looking at the wrong iLok account.

Since it is a Slate product and not an Avid product, Avid support would not be able to view their licenses. So you would need to contact support at Slate or www.iLok.com for help with your iLok.
