Default Loud Explosion driving me nuts!

In some of my sessions, when I duplicate a track or arm/disarm a track, I get a loud noise (either a "pop" or a bigger reverby "explosion"). If I disable the bombfactory 1176 I have - on a completely unrelated track - the problem goes away. But as soon as I reenable the 1176, the problem comes back.

This does not happen in all of my sessions with 1176's!

I am getting embarrassed and frustrated. I'm using 5.3.1, os 9.2.2, G4 800.

Is anyone else experiencing anything like this? I tried searching...

Thanks,

-kid pro

Hi, I have the same problem with my HD2 system. I never had the time to figure out which Plugin is causing this. It doesn't appear all the time but it's usually there when I open a session which is using some Plugins. Very disturbing and very annoying. I don't have this with my Mix+ system - only with my HD2 rack.

Detlef.

Kid,

You're not alone, and I don't have any Bomb Factory plugins. Digi Massive pack, Waves plat,+DUY (did I fogret anyone???) Anyhow, it's annoying and not worthy of a pro system!

Put me down as another person who REALLY wishes this would get fixed. In my case, I believe it's related to Reverb One. It seems to me that the mute time for TDM changes simply needs to be lengthened.

Fixing this problem should be made a top priority.

Hi Lee! Someone at Nika´s forum suggested me as being a DC problem.
It happens to me even if no plugs are inserted on tracks.
So do we need to reboot over and over? It sounds like a short massive glitch.

Besides, sometimes a track stops playing. No voice problems neither running demo plugs.
I have seen both TDM Mix and Hd guys report this.
So?

Try calling Bomb Factory customer support. I hear they're very helpful, especially if you don't have your registration information at hand.

I thought it was just my system as well.

When I use Logic as a front end the problem is enhanced tenfold. Every time I instantiate a plugin, a buss, or an output the noise is so loud I have to turn down the monitors and is actually dangerous for the monitors. When I have forgotten to do this Ive had clients jumping out of their seat and it snot funny, they are embarassed, and so am I........ Its not as loud when I use PT's but still hugely irritating. Oh, and if I swicth to purely native mode instantiating plugins on the fly is flawless, the music doesnt stop, theres no clicks or bangs, just perfection. We were supposed to get this with PT 6. What an amateurish implementation. Why even bother?? And we are supposed to have the pro system. Thats a laugh.

Is this an actual bug Digi??
