Seeing you all have good market knowledge on the subject could you advise on this piece : CAD gxl2400. I have heard quite good reviews for home recording (of course) with this fella. What is your opinion? Thanks for your support.

Sorry, but any mic that sells for $60 is nothing but cheap. The MXL V89 is the cheapest mic I would buy, and its worth at least twice what it costs

Well ... depending on the definition :) And by the way I tried Rode NT2-A and it is quiet clear, nice sounding mic. Used it both for acoustic guitar and vocals and I'm sold :) And the 10 years guaranty deal is great. I will try to organize the V89 to compare both. Thanks for your wisdom :)
