PT LE Won't Play

Recently, when I go into a session and hit the play button, it seems like the play button flashes and then the stop button flashes (and pause is displayed at the bottom of the edit screen) right after it. And nothing plays. It seems to go into play mode for a fraction of a second then it pauses.

I'm figuring that I have a preference set incorrectly but I can't figure out which one. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like you've enabled the count off - it's toggled with the 8 key on your numeric keypad or in the Transport Window (Command+1).

if you are using 002R and 6.4 le you might see the light flashing on the 002R, you have to restart your computeralso check below the tracks in the mix window see if you have the little page where you can make notes open.

I ended up powering the computer down completly and booting it back up again. I did this without saving anything in PT. When it came back up, the problem was gone.

If it happens again, I'll try your suggestions.

FYI, this was with an MBox running the latest PT.
