Default Help!! - Protools 2020.3 Event Operations not working at all

Help!! - Protools 2020.3 Event Operations task apply button does not turn blue, stays gray in all tasks (Change Velocity, quantize, etc).

This is the first time I have used Event Operations, so do not have a previous session that was successful with it.
Change Velocity, quantize (etc) apply button in Event Operations does not turn blue. It stays gray. I highlighted the section, opened event operations - change velocity, and when I change any of the options the apply button stays gray. I have tried restarting the computer, reinstalling the software, and it doesn't work.

My exact steps were: Open session with tracks recorded, highlight a particular section, highlighted the name of the track, opened events operation, clicked on change velocity, altered the levels, and no change in color of gray of the apply button. I did the same with Quantize and the other events. Same thing. I then reverse order where I opened the events operation window first, and highlighted the section second. Still no change in the color gray.

I have searched this site for threads that might have a solution, but nothing works. I removed the protools entirely and reinstalled - protools latest update 2020 last night, still doesn't work, ilok is up to date as well.

Here is a google drive link of a video of exactly what I am doing.

Here is a link to the video on my google drive

Below is my Sandra report.
I would appreciate any help - I am literally stalled on all projects until I can figure this out.
Thank you for any help.

Default Re: Help!! - Protools 2020.3 Event Operations not working at all

As I suspected while reading about your issue, the video shows you are trying to apply an event operation to actual audio. Event operations are meant for editing and modifying MIDI data or any tick based function. Audio is not tick-based, but can be when elastic audio is enabled on the track. Events on tick-based elasticized audio tracks are limited to time-based functions such as quantization.

I suggest you explore the Audiosuite menu for effects you may want to apply to your audio. Or use the plugin slots in the Pro Tools mixer. Or use the clip effects available in the edit window.
