Question: Shortcut for "Select Next/Previous MIDI Note" - SOLVED
Hi Folks,
I am stuck with a question, is there a way to use a Keyboard Shortcut (or EuCon) to select the next or previous MIDI note, ideally in the Edit Window on a MIDI (or Instrument) track? I can see that with Tab to Transient, the selector will move to the next MIDI note, and that a "Shift-Tab" will then allow you to select the region of a note - but this also selects any other notes in that time selection. What I want is a way to not have to keep using the mouse for simply note selection - I am doing a lot of audio sample spotting, and using key commands with nudging would be ideal. Thanks in advance. Re: Question: Shortcut for "Select Next/Previous MIDI Note" - SOLVED
Literally 10mins after posting this, two days of frustration was relieved when I discovered that the Arrow Keys (left/Right) will do this.
This is after a few days of heavy work, and numerous attempts at searching here and the web as well as the manual. thanks. |
