In preferences for HDX systems on the Mixing page there is a checkbox to Compensate Side Chains. Or am I missing something about what people are asking for?

Those asking for it don’t have HDX.

That's fine! I don't care if I have to pay extra and I don't think most professionals would (it's a tax write-off for heaven's sake!)

The problem isn't with a lack of money on the customer's end for most people using this software...I would pay, I dunno, $1000 to never see another random CPU error, wouldn't you? Come on, Avid, take our money!

Markers...AMEN!

Marker Tracks, searchable markers, exportable markers with text wrap. All the stuff that an AVID rep told me at AES 2017 would be coming in PT2018.

Oh wait, marker improvements don't make them money... hell even if it was an add on/rentable feature, I'd pay at this point.

Yes..... MARKER PACKS!!!!

Have those features but purchased in packs of ten or so.

Or maybe there could be standard marker packs and ultimate marker packs. Ultimate markers may have more colors, some of the advanced features, etc.

Or markers by subscription, which if your subscription expires the session still works but the markers disappear. With an ability to purchase a marker subscription renewal.

And yes I joke, but the markers in Pro Tools could sure do with a lot of work. Alright back to 2019.5 which looks a fantastic effort, thanks Avid.
