Thumbs up Welcome to newbies on Mac - need help?

If you're new to Pro Tools then welcome to the DUC, a community for support, humour and in some cases ripping the hell out of each other. If you get that, then the best thing is to roll with it.

The AIR Users Blog offers lots of FREE videos and sounds, plus lots of other help, all of it FREE. This should get you going.

DTW any chance of a sticky on this?

Cheers
Russ

Good stuff there mate! As we are talking about good resources I hope it is ok to mention https://www.macprovideo.com/tutorials/ProTools

They aren't free, except for the Overview of Pro Tools 8, but they have quality tutorials that I am learning lots from.

I had to share this from the newsletter I got today:
https://www.macprovideo.com/trial/?st=7df&login

It gives 7 days free online access to all tutorials on macprovideo. I already bought the downloads for all the Pro Tools and a couple of Logic ones and am very satisfied overall. Now I'm disappointed I didn't find this online subscription offer sooner!

I read the t&c and you need to sign up to get the free access. If you cancel within the 7 days you don't get charged. Otherwise the subscription continues on. Still good deal for all the available content.
