First Live recording gig...
Alright.. so a friend of mine just had a show with his band in the Park. They do all covers for people to have a good time dancing and stuff. Anyways.. Heres what i did.
Direct outs on vocals and Horns from there board into the 002r Kick(Sen. 421) Snare(57) and 2 Overheads(Tascam), Bass(DI), Guitar(57) into the ADA8000 They had a 1 hour set and a Half hour Set. All recorded with out any session stops. For Tracking: My Template has only 5 Reverb Aux tracks and the rest of the tracks are blank without plugins Mixing/Edit SSL Channel with presets tweaked to preference Ozone 3 Mastering plugin on the Master track. Everything sounds awesome... I enjoyed recording and Mixing this live stuff more then i ever did with doing stuff in my studio... Maybe I'll go in this direction and keep my studio for people that need to use it for Acoustic stuff and that sort of thing... If anyone wants to hear the stuff my AIM SN is RSRecordings or E-mail me Jon.Ginese @ gmail.com |
