Default Behringer WING WOW!!!! Looks Great!

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...-digital-mixer

$3500 USD for all that and these days I won’t exclude Behringer as we did for years but they really shaped up and innovate new awesome stuff!!

This 48 STEREO channel mixer with DSP looks super awesome, touchscreens and great plugins for less that $3500 with DSP Effects, Motorized faders, looks futuristic as heck and I think this will be a serious contender to Presonus and Avid S1 and S3 series and many more. Just check the feature list here :

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o9emzmba4-M

And at sweetwater!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KcD4xi4ui6A

There are soo many features its ridiculous hehe

I was also thinking I am on the fence regarding the look....but features? Pretty WOW. That they used the Midas Pro preamps makes me wonder that they won't offer a Midas version(which might look "better"). They had to do something to compete with the Presonus 64S(which at 64 inputs, was untouchable in that price range)

Looks nice indeed - very European styling with The aesthetic’s on the board

Did you guys see the display? It looks like the parametric EQ section was a mix in between native instruments (ozone maybe iirc) and Avids dock

It looks good, I hope the plugs are better than the x32 1st gen plugs.

8 Midas Pro Mic Pre’s yes. Thats what I think too but I wouldn’t buy that unit for the preamps, I wouldn’t buy a C/24 or Control24 for the preamps either

I would buy it as not only it is a great DAW Controller you get all those extra features on top of those 24 motorized faders and total recall all over the board. Lots of good DSP plugin effects that never touch the computer CPU etc etc etc

IMHO of course. Would been great with 16 or more pre’s but that price is ridiculously low.

Considering it also has connectivity as an audio interface, this has some serious bang for the buck. The feature set and price looks awesome, quality/support/reliability is the only thing I would be concerned about. Haven’t looked at behringer gear for quite some time, but I know 10-15 years ago the quality was definitely a concern, you get what you pay for. That being said, maybe they have improved since then.

Sorry, but I will always refuse to support Uli Behringer.

Everything he has built was built off of other people's hard work and IP.

POS.

8 on board, but connections for remote stage boxes(BehringerS16, S32 and Midas DL16 and DL32), plus the new protocol they mention(probably for some new IO box in development). Did it say anything about sample rate? If not, then its probably still 44.1 or 48K like the X32/M32(I did read that the Midas DL251 stage box is compatible at 48K with X32/M32)

And Dante and Digigrid so there are a lot of connecting options/

As Drew said I would have stayed away far away from Behringer 5-10 years ago but now last 2 years they have really made som quality Sheeeeet and the WING would look awesome in our midi writing room. I mean for 3500 dollars I dont expect miracles but so far it seem to be a really loaded peice of kit
