You know, I signed the same type of deal and my advice to you is be careful! I was just as excited as you are, but it seems that I did not perform as Columbia expected. They found me in breach due to some monthly expectation that I found ridiculous (after all, you can't put a time limit on an artist!!). Well, long story short, I ended up owing them money. Imagine, a struggling musician owing a mega entertainment conglomerate money! From now on, I will only work with small independents.

Just my $0.02
