Default Question for Avid Support

How do I access Plugin Midi Learn on my expensive MC MIX?

Please do not tell me that this essential feature has been dropped! I have plugins with dozens of parameters, surely I cannot be expected to bank through pages and pages of parameters on the MIX just to find what I want!

They didn't really design it for that purpose. If you use Logic pro, it is possible to re-order the display of plugin parameters by editing an XML file so that you can put the most important ones on the first couple of pages.

Oh, you mean they didn't design it for controlling Pro tools. Now it makes sense

The order of plugin parameters is dictated by the host.. logic/cubase/pro tools, etc. I'm saying it's possible to hack the order in logic and don't know about the others.

Actually the plug-in parameters are set up by the maker of the plug-in, and not by the host in which it is running.

Yes but my point was that you alter those settings by changing one of logic's XML files and it's not up to EuCon.
