Avid KeyStudio with ProTools SE - Cannot Get Sound

I have a new Avid KeyStudio with ProTools Se, and cannot get sound from my PC Built in speakers. I can get sound through headphies, but onoy in Mono on Left side/ I read on Amazon that other Windows 7 users had similar issues and had to return the product. Before I do so I was wondering if anyone had any tips?
