Default usb keystation not available in midi control list

I've installed the Driver and also copied that driver to the "Controllers" directory in the DAE folder. I can select the driver file name from the midi controller list but it freezes the program and no channel options are available. The M-Audio site said to use the Radium 49 driver as none for windows were available for the Keystation 49. The keyboard is connected to a USB port on the computer and I'm running PT 6.4 with a Digi 002 Rack and WinXP.
Help?
