Structure "copy samples to local drive" grayed out

Hi All,

I'm really starting to like Structure, but I keep getting stuck about this issue. I couldn't find any reference to it in this forum, which really surprised me because my workflow is so common.

I would usually build a Structure patch during a session, while connected to some Samples Drives, importing all kinds of samples and ending up using only a few. When I'm happy with the samples I chose to use, I want to save them to the session folder.

There is a menu option called "Copy Samples to Local Drive" - but it's always grayed out no matter what I try )-:

The only way I could actually select the "copy sample to local drive" command from the menu was in EDIT mode. However - it didn't do anything: No files were saved in my session folder, and Structure still referenced my samples drive.

Does anybody here know about this issue?

Am I overlooking something that's obvious?

I think that function only works with patches/samples that are being accessed from on optical drive, i.e. CD/DVD.
