I have a digidesign 64bit expansion chassis. I am not sure I would feel safe with my PSU on 6 cards in the mobo

What's the latest eddie?

While I had no problems getting HD2 to work I've really been strugglin getting HD3 to work with this Asus Maximus Extreme mobo. XP/Vista install freezes and I read some of ur comments about the bridge-to-bridge driver issue, which i would love to hear more about.

Anyway, lookin forward to the latest update on this...

David

Yeah, I think so too but I dont know what to do about it so i went ahead and got a new giga board with 5 useable pcie slots and I've got all 5 cards in with Vista Ultimate 32 and Vista Ultimate 64 on different hard drives. The OS installs went off without a hitch. I'm just finishing the OS updates and I'm about to install PT 7.4, ive got my fingers crossed.

Wow, that gigabyte board is amazing...I'm missing a flex cable so I only have 4 cards in now, i ordered a flex cable....anyway, i just successfully launched PT 7.4 on a PCIe HD4 Vista 64 box. woo hoo

I have a screen shot of the Activity Window showing all 4 cards but this forum doesnt support the posting of files...at least for me.

Now I just need to find a fanless dual DVI pci gpu and a fanless DVI/HDMI pci gpu and ill be able to run 4 21" LCDs and 2 24" HD LCD's on a 64bit Vista based PCIe HD5 rig...

BTW the Gigabyte board is model MA790GP-UD4H.

I'm actually running the following OS's in a multiboot setup:

XP Pro
XP Pro 64
Vista Ultimate
Vista Ultimate 64

But Vista Ultimate 64 is the one that I've applied all the Windows Updates and loaded PT 7.4

So to answer your question, yes I am running it on Vista 64bit...or at least trying too.
