I played a cedar top Seagull with wild cherry back and sides last week in a music store. It sounded real smooth, a little subtle but clear eyed and encouraging. Anyone ever recorded a cedar top guitar? Any advantages or problems that you'd associate with the cedar other than the really fresh smell?
Thanks.
