HD,PT 6,OSX backward compat. to Mix,PT 5.x,OS9?

Is there any backward compatibility from HD,PT 6,OSX to Mix,PT 5.x,OS9?
I'm considering upgrading but have clients who are staying Mix.
Is it possible to mix in HD with 6.0 / OSX plugins and save as Mix/OS 9 ?
And have all the plugs open correctly? Probably dreaming.

man, your asking about ancient history
all plug-ins pre HD had to be updated from Mix to HD
now most that supported HD in OS9 also worked on mix in OS9
you are going to have to check what version you have for each plug-in you have for compatibility

MIX and HD are different chip generations, therefore they require different plugin installers; however, it should be possible to recall plugin settings going between identical plugins id available.

As for mixing in HD and saving in MIX/OS9, forget it. Best you can have is print tracks to audio and open those in the OS9 system as a new session

PT6.0 was like 2002 or so. Maintaining PT5 systems today costs more than buying a new one
