Anyone out there getting a problem with Sampletank and PT11?

I'm running the latest version of ST, 3.7.1 with PT 11 on MacOs 10.10 and every time I add a ST instrument to a session, that session will cause 'quit unexpectedly' on closing.

It's definitely sampletank, and seems like it doesn't matter what instrument is selected ... anyone know of a way to fix this?

I have tried everything Avid requires, trashing prefs etc etc

Just in case anyone comes looking with the same problem - I went back to Sampletank version 3.6.7 and the problem went away.
