Ikmultimedia ARC 2 and Commercial tracks
I’ve been using ARC2 on my master buss for a while now when mixing and find it quite good. I was mixing and using a reference track which was a commercial track. I then decided to pick some of the speaker simulations to hear my track through car speakers, TV speakers, boom box etc I noticed my track sound changed quite a bit, but when I put the commercial track through it, the sound hardly changed, it was very consistent.
Now I know the idea is to make your mix translate well on all systems which mine kind of did, but it still had an overall different tone which I switched the virtual speakers, but the overall tone of the commercial track stayed the same. This was quite an eye opener for me really Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Ikmultimedia ARC 2 and Commercial tracks
I struggle to get my mixes to sound good on various types of speakers also. That is what a good Mastering Engineer is paid to do.
