PT 12.7 vs 12.8.x

Hi there !
I'm new here. I'll shortly be (in 2-3 weeks) the owner of a small S6 which should be the ultimate friend of my Cubase and my Protools.
I'm still running PT 12.7.1 and don't feel it's the right moment to update to 12.8.2.
The S6 will be delivered with 3.7 though.

Any compatibility issues expected ? Or restrictions ? Beside the "new" functions of the 3.7 like the EQ/comp cycle, of course...

You should be good, but bare in mind bug fixes and features for S6 come from both the S6 software and the DAW (PT/Steinberg) so having uptodate versions is a benefit.
