HDX AAX + Native AAX: eating up voices?

AVID: this is important info for me and I can't find anything about it:

If I upgrade from HD2 to HDX, and use combinations of hardware accelerated AAX plugs and native ones, will it eat up voices like TDM/RTAS does at the moment?

There are a lot of us with questions about the AAX format like this still. We probably won't get details until people start getting the new cards.

Fortunately, even if it will use additional voices like combining TDM and RTAS did....with HDX you will be able to get more voices than on a standard HD system. Even better, the voices will scale and increase with more cards. 256 per card (up to 768 total!)
