hey guys, i'm struggling with making the shift from rock production to more electronic stuff like house and dubstep. i'd like to take lessons from someone who has a reasonable amount of experience with this kind of production.

i'm thinking we'd skype and i'd mostly ask you a bunch of questions about sounds i want to get. along the lines of "how can i recreate this sound using vacuum". i expect that i'm approaching a lot of stuff incorrectly.

i'm using PT8 LE with an eleven rack and standard PT plugins (vacuum, xpand, etc).

well like i said in the op, i'd rather use skype so this can be done entirely online. online would be preferable to local.
