How to rename duplicate clips individually
Quick question for all. How to rename duplicate clips individually? If I rename a duplicate clip, the original is also renamed (and the opposite is true). I want to be able to rename each, even with 100 duplications. Thank you.

Re: How to rename duplicate clips individually
Fastest way would probably be to do it outside Pro Tools using a batch renaming tool.
If you want to do it in Pro Tools, one way would be to line up all the duplicates on one track, open up an AudioSuite plugin like Gain and without changing the parameters, select 'Create Individual Files' in the drop down menu and then click 'Process'. You should now have individual clips instead of duplicates referencing a master clip... |

Re: How to rename duplicate clips individually
I take the Pro Tools solution. I also see that consolidating the clip works in this way. Thank you very much.

Doesn't consolidate work for you?
