EuControl not finding my MC Control on my Mac

Yeah, I tried their crossover cable, and I bought a new one just in case, and a standard cat5 straight through ethernet cable and none of them worked. AVID/obedia support seemed to think it was a problem with the ethernet port on the MC Control. I should have my replacement tomorrow, and I will see at that point, if all is well. I am pretty sure that this will fix the issue, since I could not get my router to assign an IP address to the MC control, even though the MC Control would get a link light.

That's a pity - I highly recommend doing that.

ie. my Artist devices get IP addresses via DHCP from the router. (This is the default method configured on the Artist devices when they ship).

and my router is explicitly configured with "static DHCP reservations" such that each Artist device *always* gets the same IP address.

I have 4 Artist devices, and never get any network-related problems.
